Lagonda V12 Project
Following an extensive renovation project, we are delighted to release pictures of the completed car.
This Lagonda V12 chassis number 14039 was rescued by its present owner about 3 years ago and has spent its time since then here undergoing a very timely and detailed restoration.
As with all these types of projects, if it wasn’t for dedication, determination and the customer’s commitment, this type of work would never be completed and we would never get the opportunity to maintain such wonderful feats of engineering.
The chassis and suspension has been completely overhauled, the steering modified and improved and where possible we have improved every part of this car. The interior completely renewed, from the beautiful wood trims to the sumptuous leather, nothing has been left out.
The body has been stripped bear and painted in a lovely deep blue, tastefully finished with a hand painted burgundy coach line. Wheels to match and new tyres to give this car every opportunity of handling to the best of its ability.
What we have got is a very beautiful 1938 Lagonda V12 that drives and handles really well, considering the weight and technology available back then.
As you can imagine with a project like this, we have so much to tell and an extensive photo library. We will endeavour to share it all over the coming weeks and months.
